Stage Door Studios Policies (2026–2027)
Welcome to Stage Door Studios! Please review our studio policies carefully. Enrollment in classes indicates that you have read, understood, and agree to these policies.
Registration
Registration is available online at StageDoorStudios.com.
You may also register in person by completing a registration form, paying the registration fee.
An email confirmation will be sent once your registration has been processed.
Tuition & Payments
Tuition is based on the full dance season (August–May), not the number of classes in a particular month.
The season includes a minimum of 34 lessons, with 37 weeks scheduled to allow flexibility if needed.
Tuition may be paid monthly or annually.
Monthly tuition is due August through May.
All families are required to keep a valid credit or debit card on file.
Monthly tuition is processed on the 10th of each month using the card on file. If you prefer not to have your card charged automatically, payment may be made by cash, check, or debit card before the 10th of the month. Any remaining balance after the 10th will be charged to the card on file.
Late Payments
Accounts not paid by the 10th will incur a $15 late fee.
Accounts more than 60 days past due may be submitted to collections.
Students with delinquent accounts may not participate in classes until their balance is current.
Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF)
Returned paper checks, ACH payments, or declined credit card transactions are subject to a $35 NSF fee, payable with your tuition balance.
Multi-Class Discounts
We encourage dancers to take advantage of our Multi-Class Discounts for the best value and maximum progress. Please refer to the current class schedule for discount details.
Withdrawal Policy
There is a two-month minimum enrollment for all classes.
To withdraw:
Submit a completed Withdrawal Form, or
Email the studio.
A 30-day notice (from the 10th of the month) is required before tuition payments will stop.
Automatic tuition payments will continue during the notice period.
Refund & Account Credit Policy
Refunds are only issued if Stage Door Studios cancels a class due to low enrollment.
Refunds or account credits are not available for:
Missed classes
Workshops
Performances
Classes moved to a virtual platform
Government closures
Natural disasters
Pandemics or similar emergencies
If Stage Door Studios initiates a schedule change, an account credit will be issued and may be applied toward tuition or fees within one year.
Virtual Learning
If classes must move to a virtual platform due to government orders, natural disasters, or other emergencies, tuition and fees will continue under the normal enrollment agreement unless a written 30-day withdrawal notice has been submitted.
Attendance & Make-Up Classes
Regular attendance is essential for student progress and recital choreography.
Missed classes may be made up as follows:
August–December: Make-ups must be completed before Winter Break.
January–March: Make-ups must be completed by April 1.
Make-up classes:
Must be in the same dance style whenever possible.
Are available only to currently enrolled students.
Must be scheduled within the current make-up period.
Students should avoid missing more than two of the final eight classes before the recital.
Rollover Registration
All families are automatically enrolled in Rollover Registration for the next fall season.
Rollover Registration:
Saves you time during registration.
Guarantees your child's class placement.
Provides priority enrollment before registration opens to the public.
Locks in your current registration fee.
Additional information about Rollover Registration and the opt-out process will be emailed in April.
Families wishing to opt out must submit the Opt-Out Form by May 1st.
Private Lesson Cancellation Policy
Private lessons canceled with more than 24 hours' notice will receive an account credit.
Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notification are charged at the full lesson rate.
