About Stage Door Studios

Stage Door Studios (SDS) has designed an excellent dance and theater program of activities to give children a chance to experience the joy of dancing and creative movement in a fun and loving atmosphere. We are committed to providing a stimulating and adventurous environment to enhance children's social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and creative growth.

Our Sarasota dance staff use music, props, costumes, and creative movement to introduce children to the world of dance. Students develop rhythm, coordination, musicality, and creativity, as well as the ability to follow directions, interact with peers, take turns patiently, and gain self-confidence. Most importantly, our classes are FUN!

All new students are welcome to come try their first class for free. Once you determine your level of study — from basic dance classes to professional dance programs — you can choose a class from our schedule and attend anywhere from once a week to unlimited classes per week.
